Pair of Lane Brutalist "Mosaic" Pattern Oak Nightstands/End Tables
Manufactured in the 1970s by Lane furniture company, these dramatic pieces in oak feature Cubist “mosaic tile” design. Popular in the 1960s and '70s, the “brutalist” style refers to designs in architecture and furniture that projected a sense of strength by way of a rawness, ruggedness and unrefined quality. In excellent vintage condition with minor marks of age and use. These pieces work well as generously proportioned night tables or end tables. The tops have been refinished to match the original.
