Do you provide delivery or shipping services?

  • We offer local delivery within the Boston metro area. The cost depends on a number of factors but is in the range of $75 to $150. Please contact us.
  • We can package and ship small items such as ottomans or home decor items that can be packed in a 24" x 18" box. USPS, UPS, or FedEx rates apply.
  • If you are located in the NY metro area, we work with a reliable and reasonable shipper who regularly visits the metropolitan area. Cost is dependent on a number of factors but can be as low as $150. Contact us for info.
  • For other locations, we recommend uship.com , where different shippers bid on your delivery. Prices vary but generally $200 would be minimum.

Can you hold an item for me?

We are unable to hold items without payment. If you would like to purchase the item without visiting our studio, contact us and we will send you a Paypal invoice. We try to keep our website updated as much as possible, however, if you are coming to see a particular item, please be sure to check with us before coming to make sure it is still available (call 978-254-2509)

How can I confirm that a piece listed in your collection is still available for purchase?

We try to keep our website up-to-date as much as possible. However, keep in mind that our items are one-of-a-kind; our pieces are available for purchase on other sites; and sales are also possible during our studio hours. Please check with us before coming; call 617-320-9749 or 781-710-3911.

Do you do custom work?

Occasionally we have in our collection unique vintage seating options in need of a face lift. With these pieces, you can personalize your choice of fabric to complement your individual style. Customizable pieces are priced to include upholstering (but not the cost of the fabric). These pieces can also be purchased “as is.”

Also, if you have a favorite piece of furniture that needs restoration, upholstory, refinishing or repair, please feel free to contact us about your project. We work closely with a number of well-established professionals in related fields. In some cases we can refer you and in others we can coordinate with these professionals on your project.

Can you help me load items in my vehicle?

Yes, we can provide you with help, but please contact us in advance so we are prepared to help.

Do you purchase furniture from individuals?

Yes, we are always looking for interesting mid century pieces. We buy large lots as well as single items. Since we refurbish, we are willing to consider things that may have condition issues. Please email us photos with dimensions and your asking price.

Do you have a physical location to view your pieces?

Yes, our studio is located at 152 Commonwealth Ave in West Concord, MA (see contact page for map and directions). Our regular hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday noon to 4pm. We are also available by appointment on Thurs evenings (call 978-254-2509). In addition, you can often catch us here Mon thru Wed.- feel free to give a call.

How do I make a purchase?

We accept payment in cash, check or credit card at our physical location. We also accept payment via Paypal if you are unable to visit our studio.  Our items are one of a kind so, if you see an item that you want to grab, contact us and we will send you a Paypal invoice asap. We are currently unable to accept credit cards over the phone and we do not offer e-commerce via our website at this time.

Can I return something after purchasing it?

Generally speaking all sales are final. All of our items are vintage and often have marks of age. We welcome your thorough examination of pieces before purchasing. We do, however, want you to be satisfied with your purchase, so if something is making you unhappy, please contact us.

How long do I have to pick up my item?

We will try to accommodate your schedule, but please be aware that our space is always at a premium. Therefore we request that you make every effort to pick up your item(s) within 2 weeks of purchase.  If you are aware that you will be unable to meet that time frame, we ask that you discuss pick up with us prior to purchasing.

Do you take items on consignment?

No. At this time, we are unable to offer consigment services.

Do you accept credit cards for payment?

Yes, we accept credit cards but not over the phone. We can email a paypal invoice. Please note, however, that the prices on our website are based on cash or check sales.
