Danish Modern Teak Tambour Desk by Nielsen Tibergaard
This stunning rare biomorphic double-sided desk was designed by Gunnar Nielsen Tibergaard. It dates from 1954 and features three drawers with wood pulls. The curved side has two tambour doors that slide easily and smoothly and open to reveal four small drawers on one side and one small adjustable shelf on the other. The back has a divided book shelf with one adjustable shelf. The slender tapered legs give the desk a sculptural, weightless feel. In excellent condition with only minor marks of age and no stains or veneer loss. One of the back legs was professionally repaired and the stability of the desk is not impacted in anyway.
