Broyhill Brasilia Highboy Bureau
Mid century vintage walnut highboy dresser by Broyhill for the Brasilia collection circa early 1960s (see listing for matching lowboy). An extremely desirable example of mid century American furniture. The piece features Oscar Niemeyer’s sculptural curved cabinet fronts and brass hardware on the lower drawers. Walnut veneer with solid wood construction. The top double doors open to reveal three shelves on the left and four smaller drawers on the right giving ample storage space. Maker's label inside of drawer reads "Brasilia Broyhill Premier." Wonderful vintage condition with only minor marks of age and use. Structurally very sound. Some small veneer chips have been professionally repaired and the top restored to mimic the original finish.
