Gorgeous accent chair of rosewood with original leather was made in Denmark, designed by Kristian Solmer Vedel* and manufactured by Soren Willadsen in 1963. Original label. In excellent vintage condition, the leather and chair have been carefully cleaned. Very comfortable to boot.
25"w x 17.5"d x 29"h; seat is 18"h

*Kristian Solmer Vedel (1923 - 2003) was a Danish industrial designer and part of the Scandinavian Design movement. He completed his apprenticeship as cabinetmaker in 1942. In 1946, he graduated from the Furniture Design Department of the School of Arts, Crafts and Design in Copenhagen, where he also lectured 1953-56. He served as chairman of Danish Furniture Designers 1947-49. He was instrumental in establishing the Industrial Designers of Denmark and served as the society's first chairman, from 1966 to 1968.
