Parker Knoll British Upholstered Lounge Chair with Ottoman

Parker Knoll British Upholstered Lounge Chair with Ottoman
Parker Knoll was a British furniture manufacturer founded by Frederick Parker of High Wycombe, an historical site of European furniture manufacture, and Willi Knoll, an ex-pilot and German furniture manufacturer in the 1930s. Their partnership produced excellent examples of mid century lounge chairs. The sculptural oak frame of this 1960s chair is in excellent condition, and the chair has been reupholstered with new foam and period appropriate fabric: Unika Vaev "Chunky," a tweedy off white and black, with tan accents. Although not a Parker Knoll, the ottoman is a similar wood and makes the chair even more wonderfully comfortable.
